No, your images are not stored permanently. They need to be stored temporarily while we are processing and are automatically deleted shortly after.

Yes, you can enter a custom width and/or height. If you leave one dimension blank, we’ll automatically calculate the other and keep the original aspect ratio.
Yes, you can also increase sizes and our clever algorithm offers good image quality upto the size limit of 15000 pixels.

Yes most of the time. Smaller dimensions = less pixels so often a smaller file size.
Our resizing tool aims to keep the best possible quality. If you reduce or increase the image by a lot, some quality loss may occur. If you reduce the size of the image the quality is mostly determined by the resolution of the output image. When there are not much pixels, resolution is lower. If you enlarge the image, our tool needs to create new pixels that do not exist, this also can create some artifacts.
Not usually. But if you resize upwards (making the image larger than the original), it may look blurry or pixelated if you increase the size to much. For best clarity, resize down.

Your original image is not changed or saved. You download the resized version, and that’s it, nothing is overwritten.
